Hello all. Been lurking on this site for a while and am ready to pull the trigger on my first tractor. I have decided on the 2520 with 200cx loader but not sure which backhoe to go with.

Have got bids from 2 dealers within $100 of each other. One is telling me that the BH6000 with subframe is the better backhoe while the other is saying that the JD 46 is superior and that the BH6000 can cause damage that won't be covered by the warranty.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Woods has it in writing that if their backhoe creates any damage to a tractor they will fix it and also extend the warranty 1 full year on the tractor.

I've never operated the JD 46, but i do own a BH6000. I can say i'm very impressed with it and i fell the quality is top notch for a small hoe. I would highly recommend one to anyone looking for a 6' backhoe

Thanks wallace I was not aware of the warranty extension. Makes me feel more comfortable with the backhoe.

Ducttape thank you for the insight. I was able to try out the BH6000 at the dealer and boy was that fun. My first time and all.:D Did not try the JD 46 since that dealer was a little farther away.
