I saw this on the side of the road last week, asking price was $1,500-when I really looked at it I discovered it was like new-literally. The guy said it was a few years old, only used once maybe, and garage kept.
So I do my homework, discovered it's an older model, but sold for about $3,500 or so because it's got the optional blower attachment so the chips don't just fall on the ground.
So I offer him $1,000 for it, and he said the lowest he would go was $1,200 so I said SOLD!

Actually, my neighbor went in halfsies with me on it (he has a JD 2210), so it was only $600 out of my pocket!

I just need to lower or modify the top hook attachment so it will fit my I-Match quick hitch, and grease all the fittings because they have never been greased before!

Here is a link to the specs...

But the quick and dirty is:
18-25 HP
5" on the chipper (4 blades)
1.5" on the shredder (36 blades)
550lbs total weight
135 pound flywheel

That looks absolutely fantastic. What a terrific deal on a great looking chipper/shredder. Seems to me that it would be hard not to be happy with that.

One thing of note is that you want the PTO shaft to be as straight as possible. Maybe it is the way that the pictures are taken, but it looks like the PTO is decidedly up. If you could lower it so that the shaft was not at such an angle it would be better. Lower the stands, or set it in a hole when you use it.

That's a great buy... I got one for $1500 without the blower & I thought I got a deal  (I don't bargain). Mine was used very little... the one you got looks new!!

Thanks Guy's,

I Got 2 days in the shop to play with the chipper:

1. I lowered the stand 3 1/2" to help alleviate the angle on the PTO shaft and to reach the shredder easier, I am not the tallest tree in the forest at 5' 8"!

2. I made a adapter so the chipper will mount to the 3PH with the I-Match QH-I hate wrestling things! I had to make it a "bolt-on" because lowering the top link bracket that far would not allow the belt cover to be removed for replacement of the belt or getting to some grease fittings behind the cover.

Attached are some pictures of course!
