Iron Horse earns his pay. Can you imagine what it is like to mow upside down? Think of all those clippings floating up in the air and how difficult it is to refuel the tractor down under. I'd say he earns every cent.

Funny!

I have to learn to stop going into threads where IslandTractor discusses implements. Every time I do I end up buying a new implement. These are very expensive threads.

But the flail mower sounds very cool, and may well be substituting for the rear finish mower I was thinking of.

Does anyone have any experience with the finish versions of the Carozzi and how they compare to RFMs in quality of cut?

Also, could a kubota b3030 run the 73?

No problem. I cannot imagine it uses any more power than a 6ft finish mower and I am pretty sure there are guys with the TM1900B on 30hp tractors.

My preliminary Purchase Order for a Caroni TM1900B has been given a tentative approval by the department head (SWMBO).:D

I may have to provide a Certificate of Need. As warm weather with an adequate rain has been in the area, the CON will be the height and thickness of the pasture.

I did receive a verbal memo inquiring about the use of a 2 bottom plow and a new tandem disc harrow that has not been used as of yet.
I have added plowing to my Event Calendar dated 04/19/2008. Wish me luck, I've never plowed before.

Love this one, sunspot. Ever watch 'The Office'?

Very very delicate negotiations when it comes to the CFO. Need to be extremely cautious as to how you package the deal because one false move could nullify the whole thing.

I recommend NOT using PowerPoint because it looks like you are trying to force it. They begin to catch on to more style than substance. Etc

:)

I think my Wife and I have seen every show. :D

The negotiations are moving along quite nicely at the moment. I was using a slideshow demonstration (Not quite PowerPoint) from the Caroni website last night, pointing out why a Flail would be superior to a rotary mower.

I should be able to meet or exceed my Performance Expectations in the field tomorrow followed up by going to an Antique Tractor show in Brierfield, Alabama about 10 miles from our home. I should expect an approval of the Purchase Order at that point in the day.

I use a TM1900B behind my Kubote L3130 and I expect that the PTO hp of a B3030 is about the same. The lesser weight of the B3030 should not be a problem when you have a FEL.

PTO is something like 23 hp (without checking). I expect weight wouldn't be an issue as my tires are foamed.

I am, in all seriousness, planning on buying a 4n1
