Tony,
Being in an even worse perdicament than you, (tractor has to be stored outside as well), I can let you know what I have been considering. Also, will have a boxblade, rotary cutter, and backhoe to worry about.
To date, for my tractor and FEL, are stored on a treated wood platform made from 2"x12". The sunshade on my tractor, helps with keeping good steep angles for rain and snow doesn't colapse it. The tarp is grey, along with the shed next to it. That and it is on the back edge of our yard, has kept the wife comments down. /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif See pictures @

Tarping the tractor, with all its bungee cords, is a bit of a pain, especially for those quick jobs.
I am considering adding aluminum awanings to my existing shed, with treated wood platform underneith. With the ROPS folded down, I should be able to clear. Might have to make an exhaust mod.
Also considering putting down a moisture barrier and crushed stone down, around this area. Will block the implements and tarp them as well. Colored matched grey /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif
Since the implements and tractor are stored outside, I have resigned to maintaining them more closely. i.e touch-up paint, grease intervals, etc.
PS: I have considered a different color tarp for each. Might get early pole barn approval! /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif
