1989 Hardee 6' Rotary Cutter
Our "Hardee" bush hog-type cutter has been sitting idle for 7 years under my carport mostly since we purchased a finish mower for our TC45 (it cuts the yard a little nicer), so I'd like to sell it. Problem is that I don't really know what one of these is worth. The only value I have is a note from my wife's dad saying he paid $1350 for it (supposedly) back in 1989. 18 years later... well, I don't have clue what it is worth and there isn't much on the internet (at least that I could find) about it.
Does anyone have a idea as to what a fair price range would be for something like this?
Thanks,
Matt

Re: 1989 Hardee 6' Rotary Cutter
well i just bought a used 7 ft form a small equipment dealer for 1000 bucks and still had to buy pto shaft and ended up replacing tailwheel but new 7 ft mowers on there website are from 3000 to 3400 bucks so i actually paid about 1/2 what a new one cost so look at there web site find a new mower about the same specs as yours and price it about 1/2 if its in good shape

Re: 1989 Hardee 6' Rotary Cutter
is the gearbox good?
do u have a pic.
alot of rust?
its prabably worth that if its in good running order.
i would sale for 800-1000 as is .
or dump 2-300 in it an sale for 1350.
Does it have a Auburn Gear on it?
if so then the model # to the cutter is stenciled on top.
i got a t160 hardee cutter.
trust me they dont build them like that anymore.
the steel on mine is 1/4" Skirt 3/16" top
