$75 for this boomer spray?

First, let me say this that I do not know anything about boomer spray and have never worked with one before. Since I live on 55 acres, I am going to need one to spray some stuff to kill weeds and insects.

I saw one for $75 but it needs work and I have a friend who can help me get it going. I showed him the picture and all he said is "Look like you could use this one".

So wanted more opinion if it is worth the money or no?

75 bucks and if the work required is less than 200 bucks, I would think so. But how big is the tank, what size engner, etc. we need details, details.

It will probably need some work but it looks like it is definitely worth $75 to me. The fix up and repair you will go through will be a good learning experience. Once you get it in good running shape, you will know a lot more about sprayers.

Looks like it has a pressure relief valve, and also a selector valve. The selector valve will let you spray with one side or another, only center or all of the nozzles running.

Price one at Northern supply.....and your 75 bucks will seem like a steal. Even if the tank is only 25 gallons or there abouts.....you can afford to fill it however many times you must to accomplish the job. New sprayers like that will cost north of 450 bucks. It looks like your pump is PTO driven.

Hey, the pump is not included in the price and it basically need new hoses and jet nozzler but another than that, that's all it is. I still think $75 is good especially when it includes a tank and things you need to help complete it.

Still a good buy.....purchase of your new pump may surprise you. Just the superstructure, (booms and tank plus selector valve) is worth the money. Don't get to crazy, meaning thinking you have to get the "recommended" hose etc. I have fixed spray rigs with garden hose that I cut to length, when I was so poor I could not even pay attention.

Suggestion....make sure you flush tank, pressure relief valve and selector valve very thoroughly. Will sure take a lot less time when you are making your test runs with the spray rig......trash sure likes to plug the nozzles....so get the inside of it as clean as you can.
