| Tractor Supply coupon Anyone have a TSC coupon they're not going to be using? The only offers I get are the online 10-15% offer. I'm looking to pick up a boxblade and landscape rake for the BX. You can't use that discount on instore items.
Thanks, Ed

Thanks, Ed | GOOD idea! I don't have a coupon but I got a story. I needed a vacuum pump and gages for air condition service on car. I shot over to Harbor Freight on line. They had what I needed. I got the phone number from web and called land line to my local Harbor Freight about 10 miles away. They had what I needed. As an after thought I asked, "How much is it?" The price was $25.00 more at local store. Of course I would have had to pay shipping with on line order. I squawked and the person on phone said, "print out a copy and I'll match it". "My printer"s broke.", I told him. He said come on in and I'll print it out on the store computer. Now that's service.

| Re: Tractor Supply coupon Maybe I am about to blow the deal, but I make a list of dream stuff as well as real stuff, and surf harbor freight before I go shopping there. THe stores honor the website prices. I have a file of things that someday I want to get but I have seen on sale (greenhouse for the mrs is the big ticket right now). I have a coupon for $200 off with no date.. Hope it plays out as it has in the past.

| Re: Tractor Supply coupon Re TSC and HF. TSC sent me an email yesterday for $4.95 shipping and it listed some online items in the email for sale too. One of the items was a garden cart. Looked good so I went to order it and get the $4.95 shipping. Nope it says it isn't available online, in store only!
TSC really needs to get their act together
I was told at HF locally, where I've kinda got to know the manager and some of the sales staff*- technically Harbor Freight stores and Harbor Freight online are two different companies.
Makes sense in a way, companies do all sorts of stuff like that for tax/legal/whatever reasons. I've never had them fail to honor an online coupon/sale in the store though when challenged on it though
*One of the sales guys jokes with me, every time I go in he makes some comment like "Back again?" or when I leave "See ya tomorrow!" I told him my goal in life was to buy one of everything they sell Their store is only a mile or so from my office- thats a good thing for convenience but a bad thing for my wallet..... |

| Re: Tractor Supply coupon Thanks alot guys, really. I ask for the help of my fellow TBNers for a coupon at Tractor Supply. Then you guys go off on a tangent with this Harbor Freight crap. Do you know what you guys did. Hmm, do you.
Well, last week when I was busy at work , I printed out a list of items I "NEEDED" at Harbor Freight. I left the printout in my bag. Well, you guys really did it to me this time . You reminded me about the list and I went out to get it. Now, I will have to go to Harbor Freight and spend the money I would have saved on the coupon you guys didn't supply.
WHERE IS MY COUPON!!!!!
Thanks alot, Ed

Not only that, but it went up in price from what was advertised in the email. I looked at it too.

I have a coupon for $200 off with no date.. Hope it plays out as it has in the past. | My wife bought one of the 10x12 green houses about a year and half ago. I installed it Sep/Oct. 2006. That was a rough winter. The wind kept blowing the panels out of it. We bought extra clips. Didn't help. I then used silicone and the extra clips. Didn't help. Finally as a last ditch effort last spring I went to TSC and bought a bunch of bolts. I put a bolt everywhere a panel crossed a bar, glued the panels again to the bars with the silicone, and then used the clips - again used the extras still. Also ran a piece of rebar against the back wall to stiffen the posts that are bolted together. It has been pretty decent since I re-engineered it. For the price $599 as long as you do as I describe up front I think it is a decent buy. BTW, we were lucky, we were able to find all of the panels that had blown out - though one of them was missing all winter. Now that I've proven my design works, I will probably start replacing the cheap bolts with something that won't rust as they need to be replaced. Just didn't want to tie up a bunch of money in something that I didn't know if it would hold up.

Went to Harbor Freight and spent $100 on "needed" supplies.
Still no TSC coupon.

Gotta Love it...
I think the problem with TSC is they have these in store 5pm-9pm discounts on holiday weekends that aren't advertised , at least not advertised to me ... When you are wanting the big ticket item (KK or Farmforce 5' tiller) 10-15% is significant. But as for a coupon I haven't seen or heard anything about them...(but I'm pretty uninformed anyhow in general)
I too am on the emailing list and get the sales flyer for discounts but its for online only & most items I would want are not available online...Go figure Life in the big city.... It'll never work...
Oh BTW, Good Luck on the coupon Hunt, quest, Thing... |

| Re: Tractor Supply coupon It's only three or so weeks to Memorial day weekend, so maybe I'll hold off till then. Can't wait any longer than that. We'll see.
