Kubota Grand L 5740, loaded R1's w/640 lbs cast weight, 854 loader
Where to start.
Bought the plow.
$850
Found a guy coming my direction willing to bring it to me.
$325
Purchased new hydraulic hoses and cleaned out the cylinder.
$53
Rolled it over, way too fast. bought restrictor for hoses.
$4.95
now it rolls in 6 seconds. Perfect!

bought new shins and shares. Thanks Crescent Forge
$238
Had rollover linkage (cast iron) repaired.
$43
So far
$1513.95

What to do now.
I put on a set of left and right shins and shares last nite.
The frogs are worn pretty bad. I can weld and rebuild those and make it look like new. I have lots of grinding and polishing tools
The landslides are toast.
I can also make those myself.
I get thing finished and I might not want to use it. :)
So...
Anyone want to buy a plow? ;)

If you don't want to get it dirty, send it this way.... I'LL GET 'ER DIRTY for ya!

I've been looking for a 2-bottom 2-way Massey Ferguson plow for ages. I have no real NEED for it, just seems like a cool thing to own. Definately a head turner at a plow day.

I tried to post a picture one time not to long ago and it didn't work.

Just from the pictures or the Massey 55, I can tell that it is light years better shape than my Ford was.

I passed on it because, 1st, it's a 16 inch plow and 2nd, I'm not sure but I think it is a CAT2.
