If your mid mount mower deck vibrates at high rpms (engine 2700 rpms), Is that a balance problem or are the rpms just too high?

It could be that one of your blades has been broken off at one end. This will cause one side of the blade to be heavier and vibrate.

So it is probably related to an imbalance?

Grab one end of the blade and wiggle it up and down to see if there much play,if so you may need to replace the bearing in the housing, also check to see if the blade has been sharpen even.

Will do, I will check all of that and maybe replace somethings like the bearings and the blades or get them sharpened professionally.

Mower blades can get a grass build-up on them. After a while this build-up can start to take the blades out of balance. Before sharpening,I try to clean off the build-up,then sharpen and balance the blades. The best way to have a bearing fail is to run unbalanced blades.

Me, too, with the wire wheel on the bench grinder.

if your blades are properly balanced, and you have done everything the others here have suggested, and you have greasable spindle, pump up to 25 skirts into each spindle, or as much as you can before the grease comes out all over the place.

if that does not help, time has come for either you or your dealer to check out the spindle for damage. DON"T CONTINUE TO MOWE, the thing will not go away "by wear and tear".

good luck
