King Kutter=taylor way?PIC
I was at tsc the other day and they had a new rake there 84" wheels etc,It says taylor way on it and it was still packed for shipping.Part of the shipping packaging was carboard under the metal banding that has king kutter written all over it.Are they the same company?,sorry if this is common knowledge but i didn't know they were.(if in fact they are)

Re: King Kutter=taylor way?PIC
This is definitely not the same rake that King Kutter sells at TSC. It looks to be better built.

That looks like the same frame and pivot assembly that my KK heavy duty blade uses. The positioning plate is even looks the same...

Re: King Kutter=taylor way?PIC
It probably is the same as this one from TSC:
Tractor Supply Company - 6 ft Heavy Duty Landscape Rake with Guide Wheels
However, I don't believe it is a King Kutter. Both are "4500 series", and the TSC picture looks like it has the same Taylor Way logo. Also, I've never seen it stocked at TSC. I got the cheaper KK for $429 + $200 for guage wheels, but I think this heavy duty one for $799 is probably a better deal.

Re: King Kutter=taylor way?PIC
Not the same co, sister companies. I bought a Taylor box blade (Heavy duty) and could not find info on it. I called the number listed on the web page and got KK co. They explained it to me. Taylor makes heavier duty equip, which can use KK parts (scarifiers for BB). anywho, the people were friendly and helpful, and sent me a manual in the mail. I now promote their stuff after seeing the BB in action. My BB had solid plates up to the toplink, not the 2" strips like alot of the others. Also, their pins are very easy to pull with big rings on them, but the coter pins suck.
I'd buy the taylor product in a sec, especially if the same price. For some reason they also put reflective tape on the back of it, nice if your going down the road. I didn't know TSC was selling taylor stuff now, I need a rake too, guess I'll make a trip tomorrow.DK45 SE HST, RFM, BB, FEL, PHD, toothbar, rear blade, canopy, pallet forks, 6' tiller, and now I need an addition on my pole building
