Since nobody replied to my post, I will. I talked to the local Kubota dealer, who as it turns sells them, and indicated that customers are happy with them. He had a set of Bc-300's mounted to a Kubota 7800, so I think I will order it (them).

I look forward to what you think of this device. I am a little underwhelmed by the design, I think you are going to miss the "middle" teeth you find on most grapples. Looks like this would be only good for grabbing logs...

But, thats why I am no engineer. How much was the bad boy btw?

I like the part of not needing to add hydraulic lines to get the bennifit of a grapple. For logs or brush piles, it should be ideal. I'm unsure of how easy or dificult it will be to change from your front bucket to the brush crushers.

If you go for it, please update us with what they cost, what was involved in putting them on your tractor and how they perform.

Good luck and Thanks,
Eddie

It will a couple of weeks before I get to test it, since I am in Witchita, heading to Dallas tomorrow to see a friend. It sure is nice and warm down here!

Probably not helpful, but I put a Westendorf front loader on my Yanmar 226D and its performance is phenomenal. It was very pricey though, so it would have been disappointing otherwise. Let us know how it works out. Chris

Thank you Chris - Please email me a product testimonial, I'd love to feature it on our web site. sales@westendorfmfg.com

Westendorf-RR -

Perhaps you can enlighten us with a "suggested retail price."

I'm probably screwed because I have a skid-steer type quick attach plate. I don't suppose that Westendorf makes one for me that uses the bucket tilt hydraulics??? That would be way too simple. :)

I could really use one of those at my place...

Thanks,

Lunk

Y'all are just teasing again! I've tried everything I know to do to get a pair of BC's on my FEL and they insist they will not fit the Rhino 2407 - even if I cut off the pins that support the loader arms when the loader is removed. So if anybody has a BC3000 or 4000 and are willing to measure or close-up photo, please let me know. I've even considered buying a pair in the hope they could be modified. Seems like $850 + shipping was the asking for the 3000. Looks like just the ticket for cleaning up a snake infested lot!
