I've been in the market for a disc for food plots, and have seen a few used pull types on craigslist. These don't have wheels, so I'm wondering how is it moving these between fields or just back and forth. Since your discing all the time, it seems you can't cross any area unless you don't mind it being torn up. Help me out with this, it seems you would want wheels or a 3 point so you can raise it for transport. So I'm waiting for a good 3 point to come along, but having second thoughts maybe I've let a good deal go by. Maybe someone can educate me on this. Thanks for any input.

You can change the angle on those so they don't cut hardly at all, but they will still cut enough that I would not want to pull them across my yard or down a road. If you are just pulling one across a pasture or some where that you are not real paparticular about then it would work fine. Another problem is if you are wanting to transport it on a trailer it can be tricky backing one on and off a trailer. I would prefer a 3 point hitch or a wheel disk myself. If you were to get into a spot where you lost traction like a wet spot you can raise the other 2 disks and move on. With the drag disk you are just stuck.
