I just bought an older Kuhn DMD 66 disc mower that is in fair shape at best, I was wondering if someone could tell me the proper way to check the bar oil for I fear it leaks a little and the bar is so rusty I don't think I can get it apart. Also how do I set the mower up it seems that when I have it sat at mowing height and I raise the bar up the inside main skid digs into the ground until it gets all the way raised, I don't know if I am suppose to raise the three point first or if the three settings on the big spring have something to do with it, it is set on the middle setting. And last does anyone have a inexpensive idea or way of making a curtain, also how does the breakaway work this one looks all rusty, don't know if I need to bring it to work and try to free it up but I am not even sure how it works. All this said we are doing this for a homeschool project 3-4 acres of bermuda hay in tennessee. J.D. 336 baler kuhn tedder old rake and this mower, first time on this end of the hay machine. Any other suggestions would be helpful. Thanks,

Carl
