93" Caroni Finish Mower Any Good???

If it is fairly flat then i would say that the mower should work alright.

I called Agri Supply and talked to a very nice woman that was extremely knowledgable. She said they have sold 72 Caroni finish mowers this year, 5 of which were the 93" behemoth that I am considering.

She did say the 93" was on backorder but was expecting a shipment of them soon.

The will deliver but the customer is responsible for the inspection and removing the deck off the flatbed.

Any ideas how to get it off without a forklift? She said the deck will be on a pallet.

Yes it is. I know everyone seems to love the Caroni Flail mower but looking for owners of this downright huge rotary finish mower.

One thing that I find "strange" is that the cutting height is only adjustable from 1 - 4". I wonder how much that thing weighs?

I thought 1 to 4 inches was the standard cutting range for a finish mower?

Yeah, 1 to 4" sounds fine by me - can't see why you'd want grass lower or higher than that.

Looks interesting, and Caroni seems to build decent, but not perfect stuff - ie you more or less get what you pay for.

I'd be more likely to get the 71 for a lawn, but for your purposes, its probably fine. Though wouldn't a flail mower be better in some ways?

Frankly, I think you should get this and review it for us!
