The 402kg lift capacity of your loader is the weight it can lift to full height at mid bucket. All loaders can clearly lift substantially more than their rated capacity a few feet off the ground which is why you could lift the BH.

If i could intrude a minute, Please. You really need to think about the purchase of the 4 n 1. through personal experience, once you clamp to hard or while back dragging with the bucket open, once you hit something and bend the back, it will never work right again. I have heard good things on them also, but mainly complaints.
Just something to think about, this is the main reason we do not produce a 4 n 1.
Good Luck!:o

I bought this grapple a few years ago, could not tell you how handy they are as I have never used it, and I probably never will use it because at that same time I got a Thomas skid steer 4 in 1 bucket. I have used it a lot and find it will do anything I need to do with a grapple plus more.
Could never do without the 4n1 but could have done without the grapple. KennyV.
You should try your grapple. I have both a grapple and a 4n1. There is no comparison when moving brush, digging up brush or moving trees/logs. The 4n1 can do these tasks but far less efficiently than a grapple.
Try picking up two logs or trees at once with a 4n1. Compare the size of brush load you can get with one "bite" between a 4n1 and a grapple. Try clamping to pick up a big rock with a 4n1 without damaging the implement.
There are many things a 4n1 is good for but it really is nowhere near as efficient as a grapple for these types of tasks.
