Hi,

I just received my new tractor (Bobcat ct-122). I asked for a second rear oil outfit for using a snowthrower... I don't know how it works; I'm newbie user. One Massey dealer gave me a price for a tractor with two rear oil outfit, cause he said that I will need it for the snowthrower... Why? The point is that my Bobcat dealer doesn't install a second rear oil outfit and he told me that I don't need it... depending on what kind of snowthrower I will have... Someone can explain me clearly what does it mean? Thanks

If I don't need a second rear oil outfit, I will ask him to give me something of the same price...

A set of hydraulic remotes at the rear will allow you to use a hydraulic chute rotator. Having two sets of rear remotes would allow you to rotate AND adjust the chute deflector.......... this allows you to place the snow wherever you want. Most basic rear blowers have a manual crank to rotate the chute...... and changing the angle of deflection will require you to get off of the tractor and adjust it manually. All in how easy and convenient you want your operation.

you could also use a splitter with the one valve.

Many snow throwers don't use any remote hydraulics.

Some use an electric motor to turn the spout, most the hand crank.

Going to depend on what type of blower you get, how many fancy gadgets it has on it.

There are electric operated splitters that will take your one set of hyd ports and allow you to push a button to chose which cylinder will get the hyd flow.
