King Kutter Box Blade with Hinged Rear Blade
I have a King Kutter box blade with a hinged rear blade. From time to time, I would like the rear blade to be stationary rather than hinging. Does anybody have a Kink Kutter box blade with a hinged rear blade that they have modified to be able to make the rear blade stationary when desired? If so, how did you do it?
Thank you,
Gilford

Re: King Kutter Box Blade with Hinged Rear Blade
Cheap idea, just use a strap to keep it in place. Next you could use a few powerful magnets, you should be able to find them thin and with enough SA to fit between the plates.
Best idea would be to make and weld a set of brackets that could hold a removable arm for each side. That way you could have it adjustable to the amount of swing you wanted or remove all together when not needed.
Good luck and be sure to post what you do with Pics.20th Anniversary Edition KIOTI CK35 Synchro Shuttle | KL130P FEL | KB2475 BH | 5' Box Blade | 6' Landscape Rake | 2 Sets of Rear Hydros
