Price Check--Woods Box Blade
A local dealer is quoting a price of $812 for a new Woods GB60 Box Blade.
Does this seem reasonable? As a check another dealer is selling 60" Landpride for $1100.
thanks
Pat

Re: Price Check--Woods Box Blade
That sounds reasonable to me. I paid $789 last July for mine, so considering the increase in the price of steel, etc $812 sounds ok.

Re: Price Check--Woods Box Blade
That seems about right. I was quoted $750 for a 4 ft Woods box blade a couple of weeks ago. Went to TSC with a coupon and got their Farmforce for about half the price. It's not a beefy as the Woods. I'll see how it works out.

I was quoted $895 for the GB72 and $1,000 for the HB72 about 2 months ago.

Re: Price Check--Woods Box Blade
I just recently (about 4 weeks ago) picked up a new Woods HB72 for $809. It had been sitting on the dealers lot for a year or so.

Thanks, the dealer said he was getting both fuel and steel surcharges on the stuff he gets from Woods. The two blades he had in stock looked fairly new--i.e., hadn't been sitting out on the lot for a year.

CaptPat:
Unfortunately the price and competitor comparison are "reasonable"
