I'm not familiar with the First Choice brand but I know the KK is a good one. I have the 48" unit I've had for a few years. I bought it new for less than a thousand. How much are they wanting for them now? If not a lot of difference go for the KK.

the first choice tiller looks exactly like the bush hog brand one i bought recently for about $1300. I looked at the KK and I didn't like that its weight seems excessive and the offset is not flexible. i'm sure its a good tiller and i'm not saying its not but its just not for me. the bush hog one i got does the job very nicely.

i had ideas of getting in a new one for a 1000.00 but
after pricing looking calling there seem to be no way.
tsc 1349.00 forking kutter and no dealing. bushhog at
kubota dealer 1500.00 can get a caroni delivered at
1260.00. all of these 4 foot tillers. i believe i will go with
the first choice local guy can get parts and he has a couple
on rental uinits that have been treated rough and has
not had any problems.

I have a KK 48''.
It extends out past both of the rear wheels so offset is not an issue.

The First Choice tillers are made by Sicma.
Sicma also makes tillers for:
  • John Deere
  • Bush Hog
  • Woods
  • Kioti
  • Farm-Maxx
  • Phoenix
  • King Cutter-XB series has a modified Sicma ZLL transmission
Paul that post of mine is years old by now and the list has changed and so have some of the companies names changed. Maletti is now owned by Kverneland. The First Choice marketing name is fading away and will be replaced with Farm-Maxx & Phoenix.

I have a 66" First Choice Tiller and have been well pleased with it. The unit is well made in my opinion and does an excellant job of preparing a garden plot. I have owed the unit now for several years and have not had a single issue or problem. I was looking for a owners manual one time and sent the company in Italy an email. To my surprise the company sent me the manual.

Not to get off topic, But I,m Curious as to wether Iseki Brand 5 foot Tillers would be considered Grey market Equipment & Worth less then others. I have 5 that have different model #,s one being RA1500 , that appears almost new & Wondering what to price Them at. I sold one for 1000 bucks but not sure if thats to much or not enough, As the Person Offered that amount Very Quickly. Thanks for any advice & I appologise For interupting this Thread. I,m just Really new to the Attachments of this type. CB
