What kind of dollars are we talking for about a seven foot grader/scraper?

We have crazy powerful washboard bumps on our road, and the County has historically been pretty unhelpful with the grading.

Are these implements even effective at knocking down washboards? How about after a good rain?

Here's what I've seen so far, but no prices.

All the links that you have will work for you. What I can tell you first hand is that the heaver the better. You will eliminate your wash boards. The grader blades work great and are the best implement for the job in my opinion, and I have used a rear blade, a box blade, a landscape rake and a Road Master road grader. What you should look for besides the weight is long sides. This helps a lot while grading your road. All these implements will work for grading your road, but the twin blade grader blades seems to work the best for me. I then will do some dress up with the landscape rake if needed.

Oh, I maintain over two miles of road on a regular basis.

I have seen them as cheap as $1000.00 and up to $2200.00 for the ones you are looking at I would suspect the $2000.00 range.

As far as how effective they are I could not say as I have never owned one, all I have is what I have read and heard so I will spare you...

Here is a good link to read LINKY

Good Luck, and MVR those are some great pics... Not sure how things are in your area, however you may want to make sure there are no laws that could get you in trouble for trying to help out.
