I have many acres of very dense forest/brush. It is so dense that I can't even drive my Kubota in and use the brush hog. I hired a guy to run his forest mulcher bobcat and it was great but very expensive. Is there an attachment that can be hooked to the FRONT of my Kubota that will do the same thing? My Kubota is 34 hp.

I don't know of any attachment that would work on your Kubota. To my knowledge the mulcher type attachments are for larger machines and all work with hydraulics needing a large flow.

Not sure where you are located. Is there enough wood to make it worth someone coming in and logging for the timber or at least selling firewood logs? That could cut your cost then get something like a dozer in or a mulcher. Can you burn on the property?

Cheaper to get a BIG dozer and have them flatten out every thing and push the trees and junk into a hugh pile. Burn it over the winter when it's safe and a you have a burn permit. (Save up your old used motor oil to light it)

Have you tried backing in with your brush hog?

Got Pics? How think and how high are you speaking?

Flail, tiller, or combo of the two? The last bobcat mulcher I remember looked like a streight tine tiller that would mulch it much like a flail mower, only the tines were tiller strength.

Pics would help is figuring out what you need...
