Need help uploading pictures

Texas John wanted to se some pictures of a project that I recently completed. When I try to upload a picture I am getting the message that one picture is 1.15mb and that it exceeds the 1000kb limit. This is for only one picture. There have been some great photos posted here and I would appreciate help from some of you folks on what I need to do to upload these pictures. Thanks for the help. The easyest way, by far, to do this is to install 'Microsofts Image Resizer' (via below link).
Once installed, just right click your picture and select "Resize Pictures".
