land pride finish mower

is $650 a reasonable price for a used land pride 6ft. mower that has no noticeable problems and very little rust.

i saw the mower on craigslist and it sounds like a good price so i wanted to run it by you guys to see what you thought.

also how do owners like these mowers?

Have a 6 footer and it cuts great. If it is in good shape that is a great price. $1000.00 less than a new one.

I had one and sold it for $1200. I wish that I had it back.

I paid $600 for mine and think it was a great price. It had two flat tires, and they were all kind of in bad shape. I fixed the tired, put new tubes in them and fixed them a few more times before replacing them with solid tires from Landpride. That was pricey, but no more flat tires. New blades were real easy to change and it seems pretty much bullet proof. Solid build and well thought out.

Given a choice, I almost always mow with it and find it to be my favorite implement. Just going out for an hour or two in the evening to mow a trail or around my pond is something that I really enjoy now that I have the finish mower.

If you go to the Landpride website, they don't call it a finish mower. It's a Grooming Mower.

Duh, I reread your heading. You said FINISH mower. Yes, that is a good price for a finish mower in good condtion. Is it a rear or side discharge? Rear discharge is more popular now and I prefer them. Dealer gave me $1200 trade in for a side discharge rhino 6' mower last year. I bought the mower at an auction earlier that year for $800. Got new 7' rear discharge rhino. Regular price for the 7' rhino was $1800.
