I'm about to purchase a King Kutter 60-inch tiller for my NH TC34DA based upon the positive comments I have seen in this forum. Tractor Supply has one for $1349--does that sound about right? (No Tractor Supply in this area has the new Dark Horse we've been reading about).

Will I need to shorten the PTO shaft for use on the 34DA?

Thanks to everyone for all your helpful posts.

I bought a KK II 60" from TSC back in the Spring for exactly what you were quoted. A very nice machine - I was surprised at how rugged it is.

PTO shaft on the tractor or the drive PTO shaft. I bought a KK 60" this spring and I got a new slip clutch with the machine.

Sounds about right, I bought one from them recently, I used one of their $100 off coupons for it. I have not even uncrated mine yet, so don't know if I have to do any shaft adjustments yet. It did come with a slip clutch.

My buddy bought the 72" there this spring. The shaft fit fine on his TC48. I borrowed it and used it behind my Kama and it worked like a dream.

$1349 is their list price. I bought my 60" tiller for $1150. They most certainly have some sort of sale during the late fall. I'll watch for that if I did not need to have it right away. They also match Orshlyn SP?? if you have it in your area. TSC in my area not only match Orshlyn they make it sweeter by giving you either 5-10% off of Orshlyn price. KK Tiller is great for the price, most likely have to shorten the PTO shaft, all is needed is a hack saw (Port-a-band saw works even better). Can not beat gear drive and slip clutch either.

I got mine on sale at Orscheln's in Tell City, IN last fall for $1099. I opened a credit card with them and got 0% financing for 6 months as well. It is a sweet machine, you will not be disappointed. I didn't have to modify the PTO shaft to fit my Kubota L3000.

How do you get one of those $100 dollar off coupons?

Ask them before you buy, bring the name of a competitor :D:D:D Probably, it's all it takes.

Our local TSC has most of their implements on sale, about 10% off. I'm sure they would like to clear them out before winter
