Default Dark Horse implements

I went to our local TSC in Howell, Michigan. The store has 3 different lines of 3 pt implements, King Kutter, Farm Force, and Dark Horse. The Dark horse seems to be built a little lighter on some things, for example the 4 ft rear blade, the Farm Force 3 pt pin ears are .500 steel. On the Dark horse it looks to be .375 or less. Dark hose 3 pt boom poles - $99, including 2 hooks. Farm Force is 119 and no hooks. Didn't see the chipper I saw last week, but will ask next week, young girl didn't know what a chipper was.... Couldn't find a made in China label on anything - thought that had to be there? Farm Force is made by Tarter Gate.

I too was at my local TS looking at their landscape rakes. Saw the Dark Horse stuff and thought it compared favorable to the KK stuff. Was not a lot cheaper though. Everything they had had a made in China label on it somewhere.

My local TSC store had a Dark Horse tiller when I went there yesterday. I was told by the store manager that they could not sell the unit, because the Dark Horse units have been recalled. No further details were available. Anyone know anything more?
