Bush Hog 305 Rotary Cutter
Does anyone know how much this heavy duty rotary cutter weighs? (I think it is a recently discontinued model as Bush Hog no longer lists it on its web site.)
What does one of these sell for new? A local dealer has one for sale at what I feel is a great price. I currently run a Bush Hog 275 off the back of my John deere 870 but it is worn out/dangerous and is in need of replacing. My guess is the Bush Hog 305 would be pushing the limits of my 870, though.
The 305 certainly looks like a rugged cutter and would be a good match for my rocky/hilly property! Maybe I just need to get a new (bigger) tractor to go with it!!!

Try this link for a manual for your 305 rotary cutter: http://www.bushhog.com/ContentFiles/...ls/305-306.pdf. I found it by searching on the Bush Hog site for 305.
It gives the weight as 860 lbs.
