Is there any inexpensive way to gauge the weight of what is being lifted by the FEL? I have a Bush Hog 2045 mounted on Kubota L3010.

50# bags of sand are 3-4$. That is the cheapest I can think of. JC

Thanks, but I was thinking more on the line of 'real-time', i.e., as I start lifting there is a gauge showing me the load/weight being placed on the FEL.

If you want to spend a lot of money, you could get a setup like the gravel pits use on their loader.

You could put a presure guage on the lift side of the cylinder at the valve. Note the presure with empty bucket 1" off the ground. Add 50 lb bag of sand, note presure with bucket 1" off the ground. Add 50lb ETC.

i know exactly what you are talking about the loader I run at work has all sorts of cool gadgets and tells me exactly how much material is in the bucket. I definitely do not see any cheap way of getting that type of technology onto your kubota, but it is definitely a cool idea, and if they did come out with them as an add on for smaller tractors, I would definitely install one on my john deere.
