The quick-release latch makes these reusable clamps good for temporary hose and tube connections and any applications that require repeated use. Band and housing are Type 304 stainless steel for good corrosion resistance. Band is 5/8" wide and 0.031" thick. Screw is Type 410 stainless steel and tightens with a slotted screwdriver or 8 mm hex nutdriver. Temperature range is -4ー to +428ー F.
300-lb. clamps have a latch that is 0.87" (22 mm) wide. 850-lb. clamps have a latch that is 0.96" (24.5 mm) wide.
Looks like you still need a screwdriver tho.:(

You only need a screwdriver for the initial installation. I use this clamp for the 8" hose on my vacuum system. One the clamped tension is set, you can pop the clamp on and off as needed with the quick release. It's just the thing when you need to clear clogs.

Great Post I have been driving around with the nut driver for the hose clamps on my 6inch trac vac. Looks like exactly what is needed for that. But at a cost of 36 and 38 each plus shipping that is pain full for a single snap lock hose clamp. I see those are stainless steel which would mean it would probably be the only ones I ever buy for that machine. I would need 2 one for the impeller side and one for the mower boot side. Seems a bit pricey compared to a 1/4 inch nut driver I toss in the cup holder when I am mowing.

5 1/8"-6 7/8"130-1751305215K13 $36.45
6 3/4"-8 1/2"170-2151305215K14 $38.36

I only use one of these clamps at the mower deck boot end, because that end need a tight clamp to keep the hose from pulling off. I use a regular clamp at the impeller end, tight enough to hold it on but loose enough that I can slip it off without needing to loosen it. Obviously your situation may be different.

Thanks for the info Guy's.This looks for what I am looking for.I am always unhooking from the mower boot to hook up to a 15' hose to vac beds and such, this would make it less of a pain for sure.I will think about if the pain in the wallet is worth it,i was hoping for $14.95.
