Stopped buy to local IH dealer yesterday to get some cat 1 to 2 bushings for the Oliver ( neighbor boy lost 'em, but hes another story ) and noticed a clean looking 'older' woods blade, $175 later its in the back of the truck. Doesn't look like its EVER been used, all the paint is still on the cutting edge. Guess I should have left the blade and ran to the carryout and bought some lottery tickets instead.. because I'm NEVER lucky like that.

Havent even gotten it out of the back of the truck yet. Really have no imediate need for it, have a 7' woods box blade on the Oliver that I use for any digging ( will have to do some photo's of that ). Will probably scrape the driveway tonight when I unload it just for fun IF I have time. Need to finish up a leveling job for a 60'x80' barn in a location with about 4' of fall. Job is at neighbors so I wont have the little tractor there and the ollie would destroy this blade. Will make a nice snow blade though

Is it the HBL84? That's the one I have...a very fine attachment...you did very well on the price. I wish I could have found the same deal when I got mine. FYI...Woods makes side/end plates that allow material collection. When I learned about them, I was a bit skeptical, but decided to buy them ($105). They are sturdy and stand up to heavy duty use...almost acts like a boxblade without the rippers. Just a thought for you. Congrats!

the box blade is the HB84, and you can move ALOT of dirt with it. Have had several people you cant level large areas with one, but have proven them wrong. Contractor on the barn i'm working on said it would take two weeks to move the dirt with a box blade, I have about 4.5 hours into it and probably 85% of the dirt moved. The hard part is getting it level and will probably spend as much time doing the finish level as I have into the job now. The catch is, when done I will should be within an inch or two of level w/o the use of a transit, when they give me markers, I can get it level.
