I'm hoping to solve a mystery! I purchased a BH650 backhoe mounted on a Case DX33 -- nice package. Discovered when I got it home that the Hydraulic ram on the dipperstick cylinder was bent. I assumed that at some point in it's life it had been strapped down improperly during transport or abused in some other way. I replaced the entire hydraulic cylinder with a new part from Bush Hog (Through Messick's online). The new cylinder lasted about 10 minutes before it literally broke the rod. --Very Ugly! It does not seem logical to me that it should be possible to do that kind of damage to a hydraulic assembly from the operators seat! Im curious to know if anyone else has experienced this or am I specially blessed??
