There are alot of Italian tillers on the market and I've yet to see one that didn't have a better finish than a KK. That being said, a better finish won't till the ground any better. I've seen a Del Marino and it looked nice. For $800, I'd grab it.

I paid $1100 for a KK 48'' tiller. Wonder what the price of a 48'' del marino is?

well original price for 5 foot del morino pro tiller was $899 got the manager to give me 10% off and I took the deal. they had 48 inch tiller by del marino for $799 dont see why he wouldn't give extra 10% off for that one too the 48 was red in color and looked somewhat less heavy duty. This was at tsc in valparaiso indiana

Let us know how it works out. Hopefully it will be better than the Dark Horse ones TSC was selling.

Boy this sure does remind me of the Dark Horse thread and we know how that turned out. If you haven't read it, search for it and read it. Summary: it lasted the buyer a couple of hours. A KK 5' is around $1500. If this brand is selling for $800, you've got to ask Why. Also consider the exchange rate, shipping cost, distributor and retailer mark ups. What's that leave the mfg with, about $300? That doesn't leave much for the manufacturer to work with.

The more I think about this, it makes me wonder. Look for country of orgin. Ask if there are any restrictions on the sale, ie: final sale, no return. Try it out after you buy it. It does seem too good to be true.
