I have a JD 4200 with a third spool kit I installed to run my 3Pt hitch snowblower chute. Will this run a 3Pt hitch splitter(looking at an American CLS 24") as configured or do I need a power beyond kit? Does a PTO pump hook directly to the splitter bypassing the tractor hydraulics? Thanks.

Welcome to TBN:D

You can hook the splitter directly to the rear remote, but you will have to use a bungee cord or rope to hold the remote lever forward after the splitter is hooked up. The PB would eliminate having to do that but is not "necessary".

A PTO pump would connect directly to the splitter and the rear PTO, no tractor hydraulics would be used with that setup, and the splitter would be faster as well.
