Just got a SQ172, and really like it so far. (Mowed 1 time with it)
The top link attachment is different than I'm used to. My previous RC (Woods BB72) had a flexible link to attach the top link to. That way, you could keep the top link slack while mowing, and keep unnecessary strain and shock off the hydraulics. The Bush Hog has no flexible link. The only slack is just a tad due to what slack there is in the 2 pins and ball swivels.
As a result of this, when the tractor goes over little bumps or dips, the tailwheel comes off the ground.
Anyone have an easy solution for this, or am I missing something? The manual doesn't address it at all.
