New (to me) JD 4600 w/ 400X loader, ATI quick tach and ATI bucket along w/ BH boxrake and landscape rake.

Looking for opinons and sources re: bolt on grapple and teeth for bucket vs new grapple.

Concerned about weight of new grapples as have seen them in the range of 800 -900# which would limit capacity.

To be used for general cleanup of ~ 4 acres woods and beach front w/ moving a fair amount of rocks.

thanks for help!!!

Welcome to TBN:D

Do a search for "Markham Welding", they offer toothbars for your bucket, and a light duty grapple that's about 450lbs that would be a great match for your machine. WR Long also has a great light duty model that would be a good match.

Do some searching on these terms four HOURS of great reading:

Like Kenny said, there are many bucket grapple and toothbar threads if you search.
Here are a couple to get you started. This first one is where my wife and I made our own bolt on bucket grapple with complete installation to her tractor.
My Very Own Grapples

This one is where I installed two bolt on bucket grapples which I purchase from Andy Tatro. They were (back then) $350 each shipped to my door.

Here is a thread from PSDStu with lots of photos and discussion about bucket grapples.

And here is a toothbar thread when we added a Markham toothbar to her 48" bucket.

Those threads should get you some information to get started. But there are many others to search and read.
Welcome aboard and have fun.

Agree. You might add Millonzi to the search terms. Although Millonzi is now out of business, there were many useful discussions of their light duty grapples on a variety of tractors including those with similar lift capacity as yours.

Yes, I agree I should have included them in the search list.
