Anyone make or have one? I would like to buy both and they seem like the same thing. I would think the same attachment would hold both. Or am I just cheap?

Woods and LandPride both make grader blade rake combo's. I do not know if they make one in the BX size. Jay

I've been thinking about making one that can be used for multiple attachments.

Here is just a crude drawing I started that's not finished, but basically allows you to make different attachments that slide into one 3pt receiver hitch.

I am thinking about something like a $500 landscape rake only you could remove the rake portion and use a straight blade when you needed it. Maybe an additional $150 for the straight blade? I don't know I have never seen anything like this.

I recently picked up a used York RS series, 60" with the drop down scarifier, drop down blade, and wheels. I have not used it yet but it looks well built and versatile.

Anyone out there have experience with an RS York rake?

I had the same idea after I broke a weld on my rake. I was experimenting with gauge wheels and put a bit too much leverage on the joint that held the rake to the 3pt arm. I drilled out the weld & put a big bolt through the arm and rake. now, if I had a blade, I could unbolt the rake and bolt the blade on. I'm still without gauge wheels but I've got another idea brewing for that...

I bought my rear blade from eBay Store - Betst Companies: Flail Mower, Backhoe, Wood Chipper
He said the plans were to make a box blade and a landscape rake that replaces the blade- just unscrew the big wingnut and change. He doesn't have them yet, but I love the blade.. it offsets and has lightduty rippers on it too
