I was just quoted about a week or so ago on the 3pt models.

The 3 Model BXM3 would be $2699
The 4 Model BXM4 would be $3599.

I've been looking for a used 6 inch commercial chipper... I missed a very good older Brush Bandit 65 last month and negotiating right now on a well used Vermeer BC620.

I'm afraid I need either a bigger tractor or one of the trailer mounted chippers to get 6 inch capacity.

Too high. I was quoted $3599 (not including shipping, which would be about $200) for the BXM42, and $2699 for the BXM32. IMO you're either being ripped off, or the guy has excess overhead.

I can't speak for the chipper but i do own a Wallenstein stump grinder that i am very happy with.
