Default Rear angle blades at Fleet Farm!!!

Through 11/30 Fleet farm is selling 72" King Kutter 5 position rear angle blades that are reverseable for 5 positions as well for $229. That seems like a hot price is it not?

I plan on picking one up today. The Landprides seem a little more HD but on a 23 HP kubota how much do you really need...especially if snow removal is the major purpose.

Depending upon who you talk to, KK products are bargains, or junk.

I own a KK 5' Cutter, and it's served me very well. On your tractor, the blade should last awhile, unless you take to banging into rocks and trees and such.

I made a U shape out of 2 king cutter blades by doing snow. Reinforce it an you may be fine.

I've tried to buy older used equipment, from back in the days when things were made like a tank with lots of steel. Buying new equipment that's well built is out of my price range, buying new equipment that's not well built ends up requiring more tender loving care and welding than I'm able to invest.

I have a $300 blade made by Eagle Equipment. Looks a lot like the KK blade but a different color. I use it pretty much only for snow and I'm now on my 4th winter with it and no problems so far.

Just remember to pull snow, not push it whenever possible. And when you do push, go slow and be cautious. It should last a long time for what you are asking of it.
