I recently checked out a small local dealer who is handling Leinbach implements. They seem to be very well built. I searched the archives and did find some info. I think I am going to buy a 6 ft. rear blade and possibly a landscape rake. Has anyone had any recent experience with the Leinbach line?

Excellent value for the dollar... here's a rare case where you actually get more than you pay for... /w3tcompact/icons/grin.gif
(also do a search on TBN for Leinbach... lots of positive comments for this company..)

I just bought a Leinbach Post Hole Digger that the dealer said was new, but he had no manual for it. I called Leinbach, told them the model and they said they'd send one. When it arrived, it was for a different model. /w3tcompact/icons/sad.gif I emailed them and a few days later, I had the right manual. I sent another email and asked about shear bolts, sent them a check and they sent the bolts. Very nice people to deal with.

I bought a 6' landscape rake and a post hole digger last month. I am very happy with both. Used the phd last weekend for 40 holes - no problems. The rake also works great - very well built.

They do not have a website, only an email address....which I no longer have. I think I found it on a previous TBN thread about Leinbach...or on an internet search. I sent him an email for the closest dealer and he responded right away.

Here's the information I have. As was said, they do not have a web site.

I've put many miles on my 7' Leinbach rake - it's been great. I'd recommend the gauge wheels, buy them with the rake, they are an expensive upgrade after the fact, ($200 for the pair).

Just want to add my positive comments on Leinbach. I bought a 6' landscape rake last year and just bought a PHD this year. Both are good values and good quality.

Mike: My PHD came with a "manual" - a 3 page foldout sheet written in 12 languages that really only covers the PTO shaft (made by La Magdalena in Spain). I think I'll e-mail them and get a manual too.

My auger drags on the ground when it is fully raised on my B6100 so I think I'm going to take a couple inches off the top and re-drill the shear bolt holes. Any thoughts?
