I am looking for a small grain drill that my LK 3054 Kioti (30 hp) can handle. Does anyone know of any? I have about 30 acres of hilly land to get planted in Lespedesia this spring. I raise boer goats and need to reseed several clear cuts.

Check out KASCO drills. I recently missed out on one and am still kicking myself.

There are several no-tills available for the food plot folks. Kasko of course.

Great Plains make a 6-footer

JD makes a model 1590 no-till, the smallest of which is a 10-footer

John Deere Ag - New Equipment Features for 1590 No-till Drill

For myself, a 10-footer is the smallest size I'd consider for 30 acres.

Get your checkbook out. These things are really pricey.

I don't know anything about goats or how many times you might have to do this but, for a fraction of the price of a new Kasco unit you can hire it done.

As others have said they're *really* pricey. See if you can borrow or rent one first, or look into paying to get it done. You might try the local Pheasants Forever chapter. That's where I borrowed the one I've used.

If you still think you need one of your own here's another company -

Truax Seed Planting Equipment

An 8' footer might be too large for your tractor depending on your soil conditions. I pulled one of the Truax 5 1/2' models last spring with about 35HP and in softer ground or on hilly areas it was all my little tractor wanted...

I pull a 7' Tye no-till, have used Tye and Great Plains no-till drills for quite a few years and have been very pleased with both. I bought an old Midland Zipseeder that was 10' and we cut it down and made 2 five foot drills for food plots also. It works good but not as exact as the Tye, there have been many modifications on the Midland because there are no parts available but it works good in the woods. Minimum tillage with a harrow, broadcasting the seed and dragging over it would probably be the route i would take for a clearcut. Drills don't like trashy land.
