I bought a ballast box for my bx2350 and want to mount a plate on it for a 2" ball for hauling my trailer around, i have not hooked anything up yet but was wandering if anyone had a idea of the location on the back of the box to mount this said plate... Ie: so the trailer could be connected and hauled around without draggin low or way high up.. Made the mistake of too high up on the box blade... hard to back under trailer hitch i have to LIFT trailer up to place on hitch ball...

Just back it up to your trailer mark the sweet spot (lower than on the box blade), would think a sturdy pc of angle iron would do the trick.

Not sure of dimensions. But here is a picture of my Ballast Box with piece of 2" square ID tubing that allows any type ball to be used to move a trailer.

That looks great!
Personally I would want a receiver like yours, was gonna do it to mine before I filled it with concrete, but he mentioned a plate and ball.
I didn't put one on my ballast box cause I figured I have one on my bucket and I have one for my i-match QH, but those receivers are so versatile I wish I did install one, I have one of those receiver carriers that would give some nice storage space on the back.
JB.

:D Yup. Glad I did the cement after receiver was welded on.
I believe OP has a ballast box similar to mine.
