7' tuffline land plane any good?
I just bought a 7' tuffline drag landplane to go on the back of a 4520 jd.It has dual blades that are reversible. I bought it to use to lanscape yards, move dirt , and grade chat drives.
have'nt got to use it yet but looks like a good peice of equipment, hope it does a little more than just a box blade. Anyone have one that could give me a little input to its limitations
and its performance ability. paid $725.00 for it thanks

Re: 7' tuffline land plane any good?
I can tell you that they're not mean to move large quantities of dirt like a box blade, but to maintain a driveway or road, level an uneven piece of ground and fill low spots, there isn't a better piece of equipment. I don't have any experience with tuffline, but I don't see what could go wrong with one.... as long as it's heavy enough.... I hope it has a clevis style hitch as opposed to pin type.
