I found this on ebay. It is a dump box for the TPH. I thought it was pretty useful for someone without a FEL. It looks like it would be easy to duplicate for the build it yourselfers,

How do you "scoop" with it? I have something very similar but it looks just like a fel bucket and uses a hydraulic cylinder in stead of the normal 3 rd arm. It works fine for scooping dirt and dropping it somewhere. Of course there is no height to it only what the 3pth lifts it so you could not use it to load a trailer or such.

You wouldn't have to "scoop" with it if you had a FEL. You could probably transport over twice as much as you could just using your FEL bucket. The tricky part is flipping the dirt, snow etc over your head to catch it in the rear bucket... ;-)
We used to have a similar homemade unit for the N9. Just used a chain for the top link. When we wanted to dump we lowered to the ground so the chain was loose, unhooked the chain then lifted the 2ph and drove ahead to spread the load.

I built one of these about 6 months ago and with the materials costs at around $150, i cant complain. Sure beats a shovel and wheelbarrow.
A poor mans loader for sure but if you use the right techniques, you can do a lot with the rear scoop. I have a ramp on my property which allows me to load my trailer from the side when required.

When I saw this I thought it was 1 step up from a carry all. It definitely beats a wheelbarrow. And if you have the FEL off like I do in the summer its handy. This will probably be my next project when steel prices go down. If they do!

My neighbor has something similar to this.
I saw him last summer with it on his tractor with two 55 gallon steel drums in it.
The drums were standing upright side by side. He would drive down to the
river and fill them up with water and then bring it back for his garden.
I would love to have one like his. Looks real handy for a lot of things.
