A good source for gauge wheels?

Can anybody point me to a good source for gauge wheel components? Mainly the casters and wheels?

I'd like to build a set to fit mutiple implements, but can seem to find the wheels and casters.. And if you have any pictures of different ways to mount them, I'd appreciate it.

Without knowing what they'll go on, these might not be stout enough. But check out WHEEL FORK-FITS 4', 5', 6' & 7' KING K - Agri Supply and TIRE & RIM ASSY. FITS 7' KING KUTTER - Agri Supply. The mounting brackets/risers will obviously vary in design according to implement. But they often consist of a short section of steel pipe welded to a section of square tubing. The fork shaft goes through the pipe section, the square tubing is attached to the implement. The tricky part is making the forks height-adjustable, yet still turn in the pipe section on turns and when reversing.

Check out the threads on here where the guys used screw trailer jacks on their guage wheels. Pretty inovative and super adjustable.

There are lots of threads about gauge wheels with several different methods of adjustments. The most common is using a turnbuckle arrangement to adjust the height but some use pins or bolts or even hydraulics.
I would recommend using large diameter wheels as opposed to small diameter. Depending on the use, the wheels can be solid pneumatic if they're not exposed to getting shred up. Harbor freight has 10" diameter caster wheels that were on sale not too long ago for 10 bucks each. I bought some for a firewood cart I made. I think those would be fine for most lighter weight implements. I think they hold like 300lbs each, but check it out first.

They started out to be for my rotary cutter, but I decided to make them universal to fit my other implements, like you are wanting to do. With the use on the rotary cutter, I used solid tires because of the possible shrapnel they would receive in that use. It might give you ideas. I made mine adjustable using a hydraulic cylinder.

I could not find the casters like I wanted so I made mine and they work pretty well. I need to put a grease fitting in the castering shaft. I used 6 inch wheel with a pneumatic tire for my relatively light 5 foot rear blade. I used a CAT 0 top link for adjustment. My build for the RB and gauge wheels is here.
