Can you give a little info about the mounts on the Q/A? Did you do those yourself? What size of steel? How far up from the bottom of the plate? I checked into the atvexpress and the plate I saw only comes w/ the receiver, not the mounts.
It all came from an arrogant local tractor dealer who got an attitude when I asked if he would consider selling me a $3,000 tractor plow for $2,700. I said heck with it, I'm putting together my own plow. I saved $2,300 with a little running around, shipping, etc by putting my own package together.

I'll tell ya, though CAT makes a really sweet power angle plow for our tractors. I wish I could post a picture of it. It has power angling cylinders that are parallel to the plow instead of perpendicular to it so the plow sticks out about 2' less than a regular P/A plow.
When I come back reincarnated as a rich guy with a long driveway and a couple GM big block race cars in my garage, I'm gonna buy that plow. :)

That's right, it only comes with the reciever. You must mount your own snowplow tabs. I can't really help you with spacing & sizes because all plows have different plow mount specs. I did weld mine on myself. I held them up about 1-2" from the bottom. I used 3/4" bar stock, made 4 identical tabs, drilled them for the plow pins, welded them on , then applied touch-up paint.

I wanted to add that a Kubota BX series can handle a truck plow. I just made a conversion. Bought a used Mejer 7.5 foot plow for $500 and modified the pick up points to fit the tractor. I thought I would have to make it shorter but the 7.5 foot is no problem. I have a BX2200. Works great. Picks up the plow with no problem and pushes the snow. I have a rear plow for weight and back-up. We just got several inches and I plowed the driveway in no time. Made it so I can take it off with the standard pins. The hitch is bolted on the front and bottom. 6 bolts total. I plan to paint it all in the spring Kubota orange.

I registered after doing some research. This thread made my day... I have a New Holland Boomer 40 and an old school Fisher plow. Plan is a bobcat quick attach plate, with the plow frame and electric over hydraulic pump. No need to mix my tractor pump or lose the ability to use my bucket.

I'll let y'all know how it goes.

Thanks for the old thread.
