I don't have a Kubota but I did just put one on my Case. I didn't think it was very difficult, well worth the $500.00 I saved. It's handy to have a helper for mounting the brackets.

I installed a loader myself on a previous tractor. I've also installed two backhoes myself. If you are relatively mechanically inclined, you shouldn't have any major troubles. I would recommend you read up on how your tractor's hydraulic system works if you are not already farmiliar.

MCCORMICK, if you have any mechanical ability, by all means, do it
yourself. I have done 3 on my new Kiotis, and they all went very
smoothly. I had no helpers, either!

To do a better job than your dealer might do, clean the threads out
of the casting holes before installing bolts, and put some grease on
each bolt to keep them from rusting.

After torquing everything down, don't forget to re-tighten loose ones
that willl surely show up in the first hour of use.

So..... why the heck did you bother to post your question if you already have your mind made up?

If my mind was made up I would not have asked the question. I asked how hard it was to put on a Kubota loader. The helpful people on this forum answered my question. Then I decided to go with the Kubota loader and install it myself. I thought that they may be more tricky considering how much they want to install them at the dealer.:mad::):p;):D:eek::cool::confused::eek::):(

Just one little tip , don't tighten the bolts fully . Leave them all a 1/2 turn loose , just enough to flaten the spring washers . Put the tractor on a LEVEL floor and lower the bucket to the ground . With the tyres up to pressure , make sure the bucket sits flat on the floor and then tighten everthing up . This ensures the loader is straight and takes out stresses that would otherwise be built in .
