First off welcome to TBN.

Quick hitches are great for newer major brand implements with hitch dimensions made to hook up to them. Some of the cheaper brand 3pt equipment won't fit without minor, or sometimes major modification. My granddad's 60 year old implements were made to fit his 60 year tractors so will not hitch up to my Imatch.

I really like my Imatch, but It has to come off to hitch up to a couple of my implements, so they tend not to get used as much as would like to. I think a quick hitch with an adjustable top link bracket like the one sold by Tractor Supply might make it easier to mate to more non-standard equipment.

Just my $.02

I like that hitch with the adjustable toplink, only problem with it is I'd have to paint it green :D

My opinion is that if you have to adjust the top hook each time, it negates the idea of the QH...best to modify the implement to fit the ASAE standard

Thats true, and a really good point. Well I'll call JD tomorrow and see how much the Imatch is. And probably i'll just end up modifying my impliments to fit if they dont.

Thanks,
Brandon

I totally agree,
But if a person has access to implements (family, friends, rent, etc.) he will use but cannot modify, there is a greater chance of being able to mount it to tractor supply's style of quick hitch. If not by the quick hitch top hook (which is adjustable) then by the top link bracket that the imatch does not have. In that since it would be faster than removing the imatch to hook up the implement.
That's all I was getting at.:)
