Help with ID on Disc Hiller

I have an old disc hiller (row maker?) that has worked great until yesterday. After making rows in the garden, I noticed that one of the bearing housings was broken. On further inspection it appears that it is cast iron and that one side has been cracked for a while and finally broke completely thru. The bearings are still good and it turns freely, but I need to find a replacement bearing assembly for the side that is broken. Due to the age of the implement and surface rust I cannot ID the manufacturer. Any help with ID or info on where to pursue replacement parts would be greatly appreciated.

Can not identify it but you could take it apart... then take the broken pieces to a welding shop.
Cast is tricky to weld up, but it can be done. KennyV.

you may have to replace the whole assembly, luckily you should be able to find something that will fit a standard tool bar. unfortunately they aren't cheap.

Thanks for the input... I think I will attempt to weld it, since I don't have anything to lose, and if that doesn't work I'll look for replacement parts. I have never welded cast iron before, but there is a first time for everything.

I was able to weld the cast bearing housing using a Mig welder. I kept the heat down, welded in small increments, and allowed to cool slowly. Worked like a charm...

This hiller was made originally by the King Plow Company, now known as W & A manufacturing, in Pine Bluff AK. They have a website. However, I believe that exact hiller has been discontinued. They may still have castings though.
