I have a Ford 104404 plow and need the coulter; the wheel that helps turn sod at the back of the plow. Does anyone know a source?

more info please. Picture of the plow too?

The 104404 sounds like a part number but I am certainly no expert.

i thought the coulter was the wheel that slit the sod/ground in front of the share.

rolling landside is the 'disc like' dish-shaped wheel at the back of the plow...

rosco2-

Don't know where you are located or how old the plow is, but Swiegard Bros in Halifax, PA are experts on older Ford plows and excellent at locating parts. I rebuilt a 1950's vintage Dearborn (Ford) 10-152 plow and they had everything I needed, shins, shares, bolts, and other parts. Here's a link:

Another good source is Wengers Machinery in Meyerstown, PA. Lots of good used parts for older plows and new stuff too.

Wenger's of Myerstown - Farm Equipment, Agriculture Equipment, Tractor Parts, Construction Equipment, Construction Parts

Good luck!

I'm disassembling the rolling landslide on my Dearborn 2 bottom now, so if you need some photos of anything back there rosco2 let me know.
