Hello
I have a Kubota B7100HST with a 60" mmm fitted, both were in used condition when bought. Bought a holiday home with 5 acres and mow around 1.5 acres with this belly mower when we are there (about every 3 to 5 weeks and stay about 10 days). But if it's the growing season it can be a very long slow process to make sure the mower and tractor are not overloaded as in places the grass is both tall and dense.
The remaining 3.5 acres have had the hay taken by a local farmer since we have owned this cottage but he's losing interest in continuing so I am searching for the correct next mower to buy.
My best idea so far is to buy a flail mower that this tractor can just cope with (next year I'll buy a more power full tractor) which will? give me a reasonable cut on the bits around the house and cope with cutting maybe 2 or 3 times each year the remaining 3.5 acres to keep it in check. This will also allow me the time to overhaul the mmm back to good condition.
Any comments if this is the best way to go or are there better options??
Thank you
