Does anyone have any pics of their down force kits for their 3pt post hole augers?

Re: Pics of post hole auger down force kit
Thanks Brian. I have been wondering about adding this to my auger and was curious what exactly was involved. These two links you and Rick posted helped explain everything perfectly. Thank you.

Re: Pics of post hole auger down force kit
Remember that the down force hydraulic is a one way hydraulic and that there is a relief valve that lets the fluid bypass when you lift the boom. If you are thinking about building one yourself, you might want to give it some thought, there is more to them that what it looks like. If things are not done right, the boom will end up bent.

Re: Pics of post hole auger down force kit
Go to Belltec.net and look in product list/ TM-48 post hole digger.
This is the Cadillac/Lexus/whatever of the down pressure post hole diggers.
Put the right auger on it and you could drill to China

Re: Pics of post hole auger down force kit
No, I was curious as to what they were and how they attached. I would look to see if I could get one for one of my current augers (strangely I have 3 of them) otherwise I would buy a Danuser F8 with downforce kit and sell off the other ones (well, maybe two of the other augers).

Re: Pics of post hole auger down force kit
When I started a thread about a PHD Down Force Kit, someone also suggested the Beltec TM-48 (at around $5,000.00), which was more that half the price of my tractor. Then someone else suggested to get a post driver attachment instead, way more $$ also. I appreciate all the new info I learned. But, people have to take it in the correct context.
I just think it's funny. If I were to ask about an attachment to improve my Cessna 172 (not that I have one), then maybe someone would reply to buy a Gulfstream G550 (http://www.listaholic.com/wp-content...07/08/g550.jpg).
Anyway, here's my link:
